Hello Everybody, as you all are aware that yesterday was Jan 23, 2012 (a little late), that means it’s Chinese New Year. It’s the Year of the Dragon as the Year of the Rabbit (2011) is behind us and over with, so I wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year in welcoming the Year of the Dragon as it symbolizes power and superior control. I hope that any Asian readers or fans of anime as well as those who aren’t Asian are getting as much Lai See(Lucky Red Envelope) as possible during the festivities as well as celebrate the welcoming of the dragon.
As a Chinese Canadian, I welcome people or users of all ethnic background to join in the Chinese New Year celebrations; Also if you were born during the Year of the Dragon, then this could be your best year or so.

Hello everybody, I hope many of you are doing well in School or work as Chinese New Year approaches in a week. It’s on the 23rd of Jan and It’s the year of the dragon.
Anyways, As many of you may or may not know that there are some news/updates on Code Geass recently. First, a promo video for Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (Code Geass Gaiden: Bōukoku no Akito) has been streamed, Secondly, a film adaptation of the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime is being planned. Thirdly, a spin-off OVA of Code Geass with a title of Nunnally in Wonderland was announced and will be released this year. Finally, Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito project will screen in 10 theaters throughout Japan in early summer. Also, voice actress Maaya Sakamoto will not only play the heroine in the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled anime project, but she will also perform its theme song.

Yoshitaka Kawaguchi, the producer of the Code Geass anime franchise, announced on Thursday that a film adaptation of the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime is being planned. Kawaguchi specifically said that the film adaptation is for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion story and not the separate Code Geass: Akito the Exiled.
Update: Kawaguchi and fellow Code Geass producer Atsushi Yukawa described the film project as a “dream” project. On the screen at the event were the words “Project Launch.”

The official website for the Code Geass franchise revealed on Thursday that a Nunnally in Wonderland original video anime (OVA) will be released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD this year. Each edition will include a 40-page picture book that recounts the same story as the anime.
Takahiro Kimura, the character designer for the first Code Geass anime, will be the animation director and contribute new designs for this project. In the all-new story, Lelouch makes the ultimate use of his Geass power for his little sister Nunnally, who loves Alice in Wonderland.
Update 2: Makoto Baba, an episode director on the two television anime series, is directing this new project. Episode scriptwriter Yuuichi Nomura, character designer/animation director Takahiro Kimura, and musical composer Kotaro Nakagawa are also returning from the television series. Bandai Namco Live TV streamed a promotional video.

The anime studio Sunrise is announcing on Thursday that the Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito project will screen in 10 theaters throughout Japan in early summer. Miyu Irino will play Akito, while Maaya Sakamoto will play Reira Marukaru.
Sunrise also announced a stage musical with an all-male cast, in addition to the previously announced non-musical stage play (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Sōran Eve). A social game is launching on Japan’s mobile game platform Mobage this spring. According to revamped official portal site, a pachinko slot machine is in the works.

Escaflowne composer Yoko Kanno, lyricist Yuho Iwasato reunite for new song

Voice actress Maaya Sakamoto will not only play the heroine in the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled anime project, but she will also perform its theme song. Acclaimed composer Yoko Kanno and lyricist Yuho Iwasato — the same team that created Sakamoto’s debut song “Yakusoku wa Iranai” as The Vision of Escaflowne anime’s opening theme — are reuniting for Sakamoto’s new song.
Sakamoto will play Reira Marukaru, a former noblewoman of Britannia and the Waivan unit commander. Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (Code Geass: Bōkoku no Akito) is the finalized title for the project tentatively known as Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito.
That’s all the code geass news for now until more is revealed.
Also don’t pester me about OSTs for Naruto Shippuuden, Bleach, and Fairy Tail as I’ve been busy as of late, so they will be uploaded when I get around or so.

Hello Everyone. As you all know that today is Jan 1, 2012 while other parts of the world are Jan 2, 2012; that means It’s New Year’s Day, so I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope you all had enjoyed 2011 as we start fresh in 2012 from Anime Vestige.
For anyone who celebrates Chinese/Lunar New Year in your culture/heritage, that it’s almost that day as it’s on Jan 23, 2012 and it’s the Year of the Dragon. Oh boy, two new years in one month.
Go out and enjoy the first day or so of the new year before you get back to your busy normal lives as well as getting started on those new year resolutions, if you made any.
