Japan Earthquake 2011!

As many of you are all probably aware that an 8.9/9.0-magnitude earthquake struck Japan on Friday Mar 11, 2011; to make it worse, it also triggered a tsunami that devastated the northern end of the main island of Honshu, killing hundreds, possibly thousands of people. It has been reported as the most powerful earthquake to hit Japan in at least 100 years, and the fifth strongest in the world since 1900. as part of an anime/manga community, my thoughts and prayers goes out to the victims of this disaster in Japan and hope they are safe and well.

If you have friends or family in Japan, I wish you the best of luck in getting in contact with them. While this blog provides OST/Singles(read disclaimer before passing judgement) as well as informing you what’s happening in the Anime World when neccesary in an often lighthearted way, I would like to take a more sober tone for a moment and ask that if you are able to spare what you can to donate to disaster relief efforts there(a non-profit organization), that would be highly appreciated to help out with relief efforts in Japan. You can also text “REDCROSS” to 90999 to donate $10 USD to the Red Cross (in the US) or the same word to 30333 in Canada. For those in the UK, you can donate to the Red Cross in your country here. Also you can donate through Global Giving. All donations will go towards relief efforts in Japan. Thank you for taking a moment to give this your consideration

For those who are concern about the anime/manga during this disaster, Anime News Network(ANN) and other sources has been keeping us updated on the situation.

  1. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared
to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of.

I say to you, I certainly get irked while people think about worries that they plainly don’t know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined
out the whole thing without having side effect , people could
take a signal. Will probably be back to get more.
    Thanks
